Recall a couple of weekends ago that Spain's government implemented a form of martial law and told striking airline workers to report to work or go to prison.

I strongly support the "go to work or lose your job" plan that Ronald Reagan imposed on striking FAA workers in the 1980s, but not the "go to work or go to prison" military order to civilians! That's slavery!

Spain's civil aviation agency says some striking air traffic controllers are returning to work after the government threatened prison terms under military law.

A civil aviation official says 11 of 15 controllers stationed at Barcelona's airport have returned to work Saturday and an unspecified number are also back on duty at the air control center that oversees Madrid's bustling Barajas airport.
