People on the West Coast think GW is intact. On the East coast we are freezing.

Yeah, the cold starts mid west. Way the winds work. West to east. so the arctic air rides down to the southeast on the jet stream pushed by the monster high pressure area over the arctic.

We have had huge lows right off our coast which have kept us warm and protected us from the arctic air.

There is also an arctic oscilation, but I don't understand it.

I noticed over the years I could have made a fortune going long heating oil when we have a warm winter as it will be cold on the east coast.

If California ever gets back into its natural dry hot state you guys could have water trouble.

As Steinbeck said, California is a desert.

I was born and raised there and saw the breakdown of the social systems on the horizon. So I moved.
