C2, I don't have to change my mind to agree that if there were no people in the USA using Mexican suppliers' drugs then the Mexicans would have to get other criminal activities to do. If there were no people in the USA, the problem would also be solved. If no drugs could get into the USA, that would fix the problem too. If they all switched to Afghanistan opium with no prohibition on using Afghan opium and marijuana, that would reduce the problem of Mexicans shooting each other over USA drug sales too.

We agree that if there was no market, ipso facto there would be no suppliers; also prima facie, casus belli, infra vide, ultra vires, caveat emptor, habeas corpus, argo germinus, fendo compensado, et pluribum unis too.

But having agreed that there would be no market, so what? Removing all humans from the USA won't be popular in the USA. What are you suggesting follows from the trite conclusion that if there were no buyers there'd be no sellers.
