You really think there's any chance on earth that AG would lower rates? You must not know anything about how the market works. We'd have a great big run-up on thin volume and an even bigger crash than before. Lowering rates wouldn't fix a thing. I can't even believe you can suggest that.

No way will AG lower interest rates. If he is smart (and he is) he won't mess with interest rates at all (unless US growth actually slows significantly). It would be a no-win situation for him. Best just to let the markets roil and settle.
