"much of the sub-prime mortgage mess was due to women harassing their husbands to improve the quality of the family nest" I already thought about posting that statement. I believe it is most of the reason for the sub-prime collapse. It is very tough to earn something. The act of spending what someone has got is much easier. Most of consumption is done and influenced by women. Most of the mess of economy we witness today, is result of the participation of women in the work force. Asian countries are less subservient to women that is one of the reason they do well.
