Bobby, I am lucky, my dog is old and just lays around mostly, kind of like some of my gold stocks<g>. I will pose your question about fixed incomes to some investors I correspond with in Japan. I haven't talked with them recently and hope they are doing well in these tough times. I do know that Japans situation with retirement pensions and many people retiring next ten years, even without the current market problems, makes our Social Security prospects look rosy in comparison. They could be a bellweather for us in this respect, as they are ahead of us on the boomer curve. Roebear
