There are concepts here that get overlooked by the freedom lovers e.g. Private property is the biggest lock up of land there is. I left California because I like wilderness. I lived in the Bay area and everywhere you looked there were fences. I moved to Alaska and live in the tongass national forest. NO fences. I can hunt and fish anywhere I want. It is wonderful. I can hike for a thousand miles in any direction and never run into a fence. Our nationall park system was a great idea. How do you libertarians feel about national parks?
