Kevin,

I know, it's a funny thing that I have always liked. Full saying goes like this:

Department of Redundancy Department
"May I help you with any help you may need help with?"

I borrow from it sometimes :o)

I do not expect to get rich on SMTC's Q3 results (which have been moved to Nov. 18th after close), but rather over a mimimum 18 month position I established earlier in 1997. It's not doing well right now, and has a case of the Asian flu.

But, as an upstream supplier in the process of diversifying and broadening it's product base, it will recover stronger and in better shape than most semiconductor companies when the industry rebounds. I'll just have to accept the goofing for now, until I can develop a solid and reliable set of shorting skills and techniques.

It's one of the drawbacks to being a fairly new investor (although SMTC, THQI, EFII, and INTL have all been fairly good to me). But, thats why I'm here, to learn and develop these exact skills.

Regards, JB
