Up soon, and so do equities, short term. Might be a bad
call. If bonds crash through 117 to 70 like some are
predicting, then we'll have a big boo boo in equities
as well, DOW well below 10K, but we won't crash right through
117 on first try. It could take a couple of months. -g-

Seems about as direct as anything can be in the markets. High interest rates pull money out of equities; equities start to slide; then there's a panic to get completely out; the value of many pension funds is halved.
