I guess the New York Times, the Washington Post,several hundred other newspapers, NBC, CBS, CNBC, PBS, even Fox News, must have got it all wrong. From the Monitor: Democrats in the House of Representatives issued a blunt message to President Obama Thursday: The tax deal he cut with Republican leaders is a bad one. Politically, that argument has been reverberating in liberal circles all week. Liberals are angry that the president agreed to a two-year extension of Bush tax breaks for the richest Americans.
