Court stops first utility-scale solar project on US public lands
A federal judge is blocking the start of construction of the 709MW Imperial Valley Solar project in California, ruling that there is merit to a Native American tribe’s complaint that it was inadequately consulted and its cultural resources may be irreparably harmed by the project.

Shell Australia has apologised after Perth customers have been hit by second fuel shortage in as many weeks.

The company said it had experienced persistent problems meeting high customer demand from local supply.

The company is working with local suppliers to deliver fuel to retail sites as quickly as possible and every possible step will be taken to make sure the situation returns to normal as soon as it can
