"Puts have been a revelation this year."

Oh ya - if I see a stock I want to hold, I will not just go out and buy it anymore. Instead I'll sell a 1 - 3 month put spread over a few weeks.

This provides up front money and a cushion if your wrong on timing. After being put a stock (it rarely happens), I follow your example and sell out of the calls.

Very little sits in the portfolios without generating their keep.

Michael

"If assigned, sell deep-in-the-money leaps on strength."

Can you share with me the strategy for selling the deep in the money call leaps on those stocks assigned to you?
