I thought she, quite eloquently, made precisely these points. More importantly, these facts are in evidence and inarguable.

Rice competently pointed out that had Saddam not been removed, we would likely be seeing a nuclear arms race between Iraq and Iran today; instead, we've got a minor argument over who is going to run the country. A pretty big distinction.

Furthermore, there is no evidence whatsoever that there was the slightest exaggeration of the case. I refer you to George Bush's book, which has been lauded by readers as a straightfoward, factual account of the events (a characterization with which I agree).

Of course, you would never read Bush's book, because you have your ideological head stuck up your partisan ass so far you can't turn the pages.
