Rice competently pointed out that had Saddam not been removed, we would likely be seeing a nuclear arms race between Iraq and Iran today; instead, we've got a minor argument over who is going to run the country. A pretty big distinction. Furthermore, there is no evidence whatsoever that there was the slightest exaggeration of the case. I refer you to George Bush's book, which has been lauded by readers as a straightfoward, factual account of the events (a characterization with which I agree). Of course, you would never read Bush's book, because you have your ideological head stuck up your partisan ass so far you can't turn the pages.
