Ethanol isn't in gas for fuel as much as it's there to get a more complete burn of the gas. Yeah sure - nothing to do with a federal mandate. Doesn't absorb water and cause issues either. Works wonders in antique outboards too. Sure makes my mileage suffer by about 10%. No children starved and both the UN and Al Gore thinks it's great - oh wait he changed his mind too - did you get the memo? Al Gore reveals [via MSNBC] that politics, not science, made an ethanol believer out of him.
