I have had boats since 1972 and never had a problem with the ethanol.

Any vintage outboard/car motor using a cork float in the carburetor or older fuel tanks with cork floats have serious issues with ethanol - it eats the cork. Really hard to find cork parts for those old motors.

My motor collection is from 1912-1957.
