I hope you're right...however, if Akerson is smart enough to predict daily events in Asia, employment results, Fed meetings, Iraq, El Nino, Brazil, fast track trade in Congress etc. and pick the single best day to announce Nextel earnings....then he deserves a much bigger job than running Nextel. If he can hit the bullseye with all of this choas then "Let's take him to Vegas".

I did make the mistake on the November 11 release date. I should have made the statement:

1st quarter results released May 13...in the 6th week after the end of the quarter.

2nd quarter results released August 11...in the 6th week after the end of the quarter

and it looks like 3rd quarter results will be released in the 6th week after the end of the quarter.

So I assume the trend will continue and Nextel will release earnings in the future in the 6th week after the close of the quarter regardless of the conditions in the world.
