fair wage- i saw your smiley, but i just wanted to add something regarding the minimum wage law..

socialists only look at one side of the equation.. that workers compete for jobs.. that's a true statement, but only half of the equation. the other half is that employers compete for workers. they have to pay more for higher skilled or better workers. and what ever the worker and employer negotiate for pay, is by definition a fair wage.

minimum wage laws aren't 'fair' because they keep many people from getting their first job on the employment ladder.
