Bought some HL last Friday at $4 15/16. Looked at numerous metals stocks before making my decision. Hecla had the best "insider buying" profile. Also withstood the research of financials. And it appeared to be making a triple bottom on the chart.

I know that when the metal stocks run, they all run. But it still doesn't hurt to be in the best when possible.

I've been out of PM stocks since I sold NEM after they bought out my Santa Fe Gold. I was in that one because it had the best insider profile at that time, and the financials, and costs per oz. were excellent.

I have a feeling that HM may be on the prowl for someone to buy after losing out on Santa Fe.

My question is, who else might be a good fit for HM? Someone with low cost production, especially. I'm going to go back and look further at insider buying, as I concentrated on more recent filings. Santa Fe's purchases were a couple of years before the takeover battle.

Any responses are welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Dwight Vickers
