One cause for the stock's recent rise may be that the reverse split is actually accomplishing what it is intended, namely, broaden institutional ownership the large increase in volume supports that, imo.
Also, their recent 8-K shows the estimated NAV per share has increased 30% from their October presentation (at Jeffries?).
It includes something called West Rochelle Contingent Resource valed at $125mm or so. They think the range of values is $31.33-$35.88.
If you examine page 6 you'll see that some of the totals are inaccurate and overstate NAV by about $.75 a share.
Also, U.S. drilling is expected to ease up a bit which, in eyes, is great news.

Other than that, it appears we're getting within a year of Bacchus production and some decent cash flow. Lord knows what value the market might accord that!? ggggggggggg
