Bob,

A couple of comments. First of all, all the people that
get computers for Christmas won't get Peter Norton also
because "they" can figure out Windows 95. The ones that
figured wrong will be in the store about New Years! :)

Ok, what is my take on Peter Norton, well first of all
I don't think this is a flash in the pants product. I
believe it is a longer term, steady revenue producing
product. Sure there are parts of the product that help
the user with Windows 95, but the whole program isn't
centered around that area. In addition what does
Windows 98 really change? I have heard that the majority
of the Windows 98 upgrade is really a maintenance
upgrade. Now I don't know if that is true (Bob, you
might be able to enlighten us ??). If this is true though
it might not be too troublesome to modify it for Windows
98 and repackage it for Windows 95/98 or whatever makes
sense.

I was hoping for a Thanksgiving release of PN,
doesn't look like that will happen. I do think they
need to have the product in the stores two weeks before
Christmas though. Not only will we get some Christmas
sales, but also give us investors some physical
evidence of the companies goals being realized..meaning
the start of the turn around towards profitability.
I was surprised on the menction of Media Manager
being completed. Since there was a news blackout on
this product, I had written it off as being delayed
or having some serious problems. Big Brother might
have slipped a bit also, don't have my notes in front
of me, but I though it was due in Q1.

The loss for the quarter is expected. No big deal
there. The forth quarter should be a loss as well. This
works out well for us, Q1 of the next financial year
is expected to be profitable, so that all losses are lumped
together in this years financials. Any other ideas or
opinions out there?

Tim
