Despite the FACT that numerous libs have been WRITING EXACTLY THOSE COMMENTS all over the place???????? (You need to get out more Bill. You've apparently been snookered. The libs never gave a double-damn about guaranteeing millions more customers for big businesses like the insurance companies and hospital and HMO chains. No... what they wanted was some "public option" plan that would compete with the for-profit insurance companies --- which ain't exactly the same thing at ALL. <GGG>) The individual mandate (guaranteeing more customers for the big insurance companies) was long ago a GOP idea... the Dems merely included it to craft a comprehensive bill they thought could have a chance of passing... but the libs never really liked the idea much, (it was originally a Heritage Foundation idea, numerous GOPers have proposed it for years).
