Amazing that the surgeon said not so fast. They're usually ready to cut - that's what they do.

My wife had one fixed and one replaced. Had a local and the little hole surgery. Didn't even need an aspirin after.

Hopefully, that will work for her! But even if not, the initial Artho surgery is a relatively fast recovery....I had three of them over the years.....BUT because of the knee, fell and totally ruined the entire "bunch" of work, when I fell....broke my arm in 6 places and had to have the knee replaced as soon as the arm healed.... Good thing I was using a cane when I fell....would have smashed my face if I hadn't.... Please tell her I said to be extra careful!
