I have no idea how they calculate 'productivity' but Canadian business and American business are essentially run one and the same. The tax structure is much different, personally and corporately and if that is factored in it is just wrong. We are as 'automated' as the US, at least in the manufacturing companies we sell to. I think when people or worse, governments, try and calculate subjective things like productivity it is just a useless exercise. I mean, the numbers published mean nothing to any particular business, each business evaluates it's own competitiveness.
