I think you may be misinterpreting the predictive value of the Hindenburg Omen. It merely predicts a correction should take place, not that it will necessarily be a major correction leading to a bear market, but rather just a correction could be coming. It does tend to predict at least a 5% correction 77% of the time: Message 27038404 After the omen in August the Industrials lost 783.32 points for a 7.3% correction: Keep in mind that it does not always work and that those who follow it continue to change what qualifies as well as what confirms a valid signal.
