RE:"Of course you won't here Marco speak on the English speaking stations that much".

Maybe after he actually takes office he'll speak more.

Yes, I agree. Many Americans have never traveled outside this country. A darn good portion of those have never traveled outside their home city or state. It makes for a very narrow view the world, which can warp all your opinions.

I think you can tell exactly who those people are. Whenever you hear someone vociferously preaching about how we should never apologize or admit that the US is wrong on any point, then you know you are dealing with one of those local people who've never traveled anywhere or didn't absorb anything new, if they did. Fact is that what makes this country great is that we are the best in the world at integrating new ideas. A lot of times those new ideas come from overseas and from folks who weren't born here. To remain a superior country, we need to be open and self-reflective. We need to admit when we wrong, so that we can improve. We need to be humble and apologize when we're wrong, so that others will know that we're sincere in our desire to partner with other countries for the betterment of the globe.

Of course, all of that is lost on the Neanderthals that generally run our country.

Rubio is scary. I have no idea what he believes, but he has a great TV presence, and with some coaching and handling, perhaps some history scrubbing as with W, he could be a force in national politics. If he hooks up with a Rove, watch OUT!
