No, they tried to wash the Reef afterward, but it was too far gone, I left a big ring around the Great Barrier Reef... I'll tell you, that Reef is really a set of several hundreds of large reefs, not very deep in some places, maybe 30 feet deep, and some very shallow, but tons of fish everywhere... we had to wear a sort of wet suit before going into the water because they have these tiny jelly fish that can kill you with their stingers if it's not treated immediately with ammonia, these suits helped to protect most of the body, those jelly fish are in season right now, so you do have to be extremely careful...
