When suffering eclipses faith . . . What a line, the kind that says it all and only a nod can explain it.

I've not put anything to paper for sometime. Most of my inspiration comes after watching some video, but then it seems someone in real time wants to talk so I oblige. Well, the thought tasted sweet anyway. I still have a line running around upstairs which I'll probably never use, but wish I could: . . . and they divided the spoils of sarcasm. But with what does it fit, I guess the second line I won't be able to get out of my head <g>.

Your story about hopping in the car and taking spur of the moment road trips reminds me of a friend of mine in IL or SD or who knows where by now. Every once in awhile we'll get a knock at the door some night and there he'll be standing. Well come on in, don't just stand there. I've done it to others also in the past so it doesn't bother me. He'll stick around for a few days and then leave the same way he came, without even a hint of 'I'm move'in on'. At least I'll get to play a game of Risk with him before he goes.

I've been trying to keep my posting to weekends, but it was so nice to see your piece and the story behind it that I just didn't want to wait til Fri. or Sat. I also so much enjoy the watcha, where ya, how ya been, and had so little of it I just couldn't wait. Wish you'd drop by some of the other (emphasis) places I'm prone to reading. Surely (or Suzie if you prefer <g>), I am not the only one who wouldn't mind shooting the breeze with ya. Speaking of which, I've probably shot all I should tonight. Nice to read ya.

Now that was blue.

Remember, it may be that our role in this world is to be that friend that is there waiting in that warm kitchen.

Sorry I butted in but this is one of my bookmarks and I needed a message to post to.

Ode to Feline

Your a finer cat than I am Gunga Din
You warned me and I chose to come agin.
I'll not let night go by
Without looking in your eye
And telling you I'll take it on the chin.

If I sold my cut, more hours fore I did
My wife and I could have another kid.
But like a fool I chose
To look down you, down my nose
And the twinkle will have to have a lid.

So, if you say sell I think I might
Take that remark in a different light.
If you here me and agree
Eye to Eye we'll never see
I think I'll simply say "Good Night"
