They are a very small segment of even the Jewish population. NYC has become a place of the very affluent and the very poor and those who are house rich from three decades of home appreciation versus the young families who struggle even if they make six figure combined incomes.. Many of the hoods are actually more ghetto and worse than 30 years ago while those in the right hoods tied to the Wall Street mafia and financial capital of the world raked it in.
