Merry Christmas, Altair!

I don't think the iPads have cameras yet, at least, mine doesn't, but it would definitely be nice to have. The rumor is that the next generation of iPads will have dual cameras like the iPhones. Here is a page with the rumor info:
dailytech.com

I haven't used this iPad as a standard phone and not sure how you would, but Skype works very well. Because I travel a lot and occasionally call people who do not have computers running Skype, I have a phone number (purchased) and a Skype account which I keep topped up to pay for the calls. I can use my iPad to make calls using it that way. Sound quality is quite good.

I'll take a look at JOT. I have probably downloaded some similar apps for just about the same uses.

So many useful as well as fun little apps. Glad they aren't usually very expensive as I have to confess that I'm a bit of an app junkie. (-:

Agree about the convenience and productivity. When I know I'm going to have to stand in line or wait somewhere for awhile, I bring the iPad and take care of the kind of tasks that I can do in a few minutes.

Have fun over the holidays.
Take care.
