Depends on who's votes the government is trying to get.

GM was all about the unions, you know. Boeing also employs a lot of union members.


Boeing is not in financial trouble. It never screws up that badly......it took very special Republicans to screw up GM. Remember its a Boeing employee who saved Ford.

However, Boeing has screwed up....and badly......a very important new plane and its launch and lost a lot of credibility.

Bottom line: the private sectors scews up frequently and often badly......see banks, see real estates companies, see GM, see companies filing Chapter 11s etc.
