Ilaine- I absolutely agree with you and am happy to see ethics introduced to the discussion. Yes, there are many ways to be productive. My personal pet peeve is that humans need to be less consumptive. We need to find ways to live rich lives without being rich. The word, luxury, used to be a pejorative.

Revised formula: (Less Consumption + More Personal Fullfillment) * Less people = A Happier Planet
