Lee, there is nothing wrong, in my opinion, with religion and faith in a supreme deity (whoever or what ever it might be, and I am to ignorant to phatom this problem), not even iin those forms that differe from my own (VBG). What is wrong is when people's lust for power (and money) exploit the faith of others and leads them like lambs, to the altar. We have seen similar deviations from the true dedication to faith and sucumbing to the "lust for power and money" in some of the TV ministries in this country (we had quite a number of scandals), this is just the modern form of the same exploitation of faith for personal gains on the back of the masses that were present in the past.

Wolves in sheep coats do not appeal to me, not now nor in the past. Yet, I do not want to construed as stating that ALL religious leaders suffers from these failings and certainly do not want to cast the righteous with the evil.
