There are always crooks and unfair practises. Compare that to the trillions we gave to the banks and the power the corporations have, or the fact that as the Republican's busted unions and got stronger over last 30 years the rich got richer and the poor got poorer.

Who is to represent the worker if not unions? I have been in a zillion unions and I never felt I was overpaid, just fairly paid.

Do you how workers were treated by management before unions in the 1800's and early 1900's? Like shit. They were overworked, underpaid and made to do dangerous work.

And most of human history involves feudal lords, peasants and serfs (slaves).

Remember sweatshops? They were pervasive. They workled little kids to death. The human species is as bad as it is good. Nazi's?

Do a little history homework on american sweatshops and the labor movement. Read some Charles Dickens.

Without unions corporations will take advantage of workers. Look at banks. The ceo's make tens of millions and the bank tellers make diddly squat.

The 50's was when unions were the strongest and it was also when we had the strongest middle class and the fairest society, economically.
