i am a bit suspicious of the rare earth frenzy as like you said they are not really rare and with very few exceptions most of these mines will take years to develop. if i am not mistaken it was axu who found some rare earths in one of their latest drill results. i thought i commented on it at the time but let me check.

yep post 39574 i think axu reported finding some indium.
