Don't get me wrong. It seemed to me it was warmer than normal throughout the 1990's, no more, no less. The only place I went where it seemed to be much warmer than normal was central Texas. I did spend a lot of time there, but not enough to be sure of my observation. I was there during all 4 seasons [which in Austin is near summer, summer, still like summer & Jan-Feb cool down].

Whether the 1990's were indeed among the hottest years on the planet or not is still a debatable assertion IMHO [my serious doubts are due to what we now know about the alarmists]. So the 90's seemed to be above the norm based on my experiences. By the end of the 90's I began to be concerned that the trend might continue. That concern was gone by 2002.

Now I'm a complete skeptic about everything related to CO2, climate change, etc.
