RE: Just how many shares ARE accounted for? *NEWS*

Jeff,

I thought that your numbers seemed pretty accurate:

>> SyQuest has 69 million shares outstanding, and would have about 135 million shares outstanding if all of the warrants convert. They would also have about $180 million in cash from the warrant conversion and current cash reserves. <<

But here's today's news release:

biz.yahoo.com

The two measures (240 million authorized and stock incentive plan) were approved.

Of the increased shares, approximately 32 million shares will be used to satisfy warrant commitments from prior financing rounds. If all current outstanding warrants were exercised today, the company would potentially receive about $180 million in cash.

So that's 152 million shares accounted for! WOW!

Anyone: When does the authorization of the additional shares take affect?

I bought another 400 shares yesterday. I am afraid I should have waited for the market to digest these additional shares. Oh well.

As for seeing a dollar a share, I doubt it. I think both the SparQ and Quest will be good sellers if SYQT can make enough of them.
