Wish I could have shorted XOMA but alas, no such luck in my SEP/IRA because shorting and margins are forbidden in IRA accounts. :-( I just played with it in my paper trading account, for fun and lessons learned: Message 27053241 As for your LULU short, I don't see anything at all wrong with it: charts are begging for a dump. Could be dead wrong but that's the way I see it. No other short ideas come to mind this late in the year, when tax selling is nearly over. Quite the contrary. I expect even total POS crap to get a January pop. Ergo, I am positioned for just that, across the board. Best!
