I agree, there will not be a new party until we reach severe crisis...and unfortunately in a crisis folks dont tend to be reasonable, so a more likely outcome is more accumulation of power in the govt, rather than less. I have attended some local tea party meetings, they are a very diverse group, with some of them very educated and aware of our issues and the causes of our problems. Unfortunately, most of them are not well educated on the issues, and are simply falling back on their habits of thinking (mostly religion, in this case...which will not offer a path out of our problems...they are so religious that they are not even looking for alternatives, just plowing ahead with what they have known.) rp
