Jay... No apologies necessary here either. We all know our limitations and will learn. This latest market activity for nearly a quarter now has been a real eye-opener for me. DLGC is like a damn torrent but with the market...as even as the rest of the solid issues.

The Dialogic spikes...Last week fairly moderate NYSE, NASDAQ and DOW days with DLGC down 2 and 2.5 points on very low volumes. That is the activity most puzzling to me. No negative news...Fair days for once and yet the stock appears to head for the cellar again.

Mr. Amoto just bought back 800,000 shares and to look at the stock...Instead of good news. The investors treated it as a sell-off.

The basic principles just don't seem to apply with Dialogic. An investment advisor...on line actually and quite a respected one, or so it appears, told me that Dialogic would take years to recover from it's tumble from 60 2 years ago. He also said the European and East Asian economies would destroy it.

Jay...I bought DLGC at 30 1.5 years ago and have seen issues like LU and TXN (today aside), Microsoft and other blue chips continue to climb and on and on. So what if Tom Amato buys back more shares. Will the issue then drop to my stop gap?

Actually I'm not asking you. I have always appreciated your input and I thank you for inspiring me and others in helping to understand this crazy stock. The "financial" lingo you run off with your Q reports get is a bit dicey at times. What the hey! This is a stock chat.

I will drop this issue if it gets close to my stop loss. It's gettin close.

Jay, you claim to attend the shareholder meetings and I have one last question. Do the people that run this company really have an edge? Do you talk to them? Is their vision driving your 25% net worth in this company? When I read of the basic principles and what to look for in a solid company, the management is always first and foremost. An educated and diversification in market sectors on the board of directors is very important. I honestly do not see that at Dialogic. And I have done quite a bit of research.
Please tell me if I am wrong. And if so...why?

Thanks Jay and to all who have input to this thread.

Best wishes to all.

Dear Jay,

I do keep the faith, but I will sell my stock. I would like to stay
at a percent of profit that I had determined and I am a little
under that with what had to be an afternoon sell off when I was
not here.

I had sold dlgc at 45 and bought back in at 38. I think I'll set a
limit at 37 and take my losses rather than risk further loss.
Also bought Veco at 40.50, yesterday and lost 5 points in a day.

Should have kept it in cash. I'm going to set a limit on it
at 38 and get out with 7% loss if possible and preserve capital. If it is
going to be a long haul, I would rather take the loss, study my
stocks and wait. I had guessed right about the Feds not raising interest rates, but I was looking at the wrong picture.

Blessings,

Bill
