Probably not true.

You must check into the true stories re fluoridated water, crisco oil, anti-cholesterol drugs, and such same and discover manipulated science in service of deformed capitalism.

And you must consider "buy stocks for the long term", "stocks return more than x over the long term", "eyeballs and clicks are worth y", and such balderdash unleashed on the consumers of spin.

Then there be ethanol, global warming, too big to fail n must always bail, ...

The consumers have no choice, effectively. When the most gets dropped by the spin, the few folks who hanged back are then mobilized in the course of bailing.
