John Hull. Re: Intel Investment Value.

Thanx for the post. I have been long INTC for five years :) and am sending the chart to a friend who I have been trying to convince to buy INTC for five years. Maybe this chart will do the trick.:)

John,

There has been a debate on the thread about the percentage of current PC sales that are for home use vs. those for business use. If Intel has an estimate of this information, could you let us know?

Add my thanks for your participation here.

John

My CYRIX 180Mhz GX arrived today

Total VAR system cost $520---16MB memory,1.2Gig,1024x768x256VGA,SB compatible sound card,3 1/2 floppy, 24X CDROM, kybd, mouse & software

Took me 1/2 hour to bring up Win95 and put it together. The system runs faster than my 133MHZ Intel Inside crapper whose MB cost $240 and whose crystal sound card drivers only worked after Intel decided to fix them with a new release.

$520 FOR A REAL SYSTEM SUITABLE FOR ANY INTERNET OR END USER APPLICATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

============================

God the pain Intel long investors are going to suffer. The mere thought of it makes me want to be back in Milan in the Duomo with my millions.

John,

Re:
intel.com

It's a little out of date. It says as of Dec 1996.

How about if you invested $100 3 months ago, it would be worth $75 today.
