Not one southern state could even muster a simple majoirty to overturn segregation. And they never did; the liberals had to jam it down their throats. Segregation is not some super duper esoteric amorphous concept that takes great brains and education to see it is just horrible and inhumane. Worse than dog fighting. Allowing segregation can only be done by people who lack an adequate conscience. And a normal person with a conscience would be outraged by it as I have been all my life. Liberals always seemed the only ones who really fretted over segregation, or the Viet Nam war, or equal rights for women and gays, or and or and or-----
