Alex is his own man. He confident in his ability to manuever in the DTV sea. I don't believe Alex would welcome a buyout based on the simple fact that he would lose to much control. I don't think Hagerdorn took the job only to turn it over in less than a year.

In a nut shell: I don't believe TI, INTC or Innovacom is buying out Cube.

However, I would consider an aquisition (or something along those lines) by Cube of some company with complementary technology, more likely. They've digested Divicom now. They eliminated the IOU with TMSC so why not?

Usually rumors have a kernal of truth to them. I just think that this one is backwards.
