J,

Listen up.

Show me ONE example where I spit on any form of music or any musician?

Go dig that up. I mean that is what you are saying right.

And there is your problem. Well, one of your problems. You are attacking me for something I did not do. As a matter of fact, I did just the opposite. See, I like classical. I like jazz (Parker does it for me). I'm entertained by the trick Paganini played on his poor guitar player (for of course you know that story, as well the fact that guitar was only for accompaniment back in Paganini's day).

I know one thing about being a musician that you don't and that is a real musician respects the other guys chops even if they are not to his or her particular taste. Oops, I imagine that you probably don't have too many women in your pigeonhole for what a musician is.

I like Warhol, but I love Van Gogh. Seeing three of his final works all together in Amsterdam was something to remember. Everyone can see what they want in, "Wheatfields with Crows", but I see both death and choice. Choice even if two of the paths don't lead anywhere.

But, I bet you don't see those paths. I bet you see wheat. Just wheat.

I didn't spit at anyone. Prove it or SHUT THE FXXX UP.

Prove it. But, you can't.

You don't like the Beatles? Ok, you don't like them. That is perfectly fine and good. There is no accounting for taste. But if you don't think the Beatles were one of, if not, the best songwriters of the 20th century, well, then you are just very ignorant or perhaps even stupid. Rogers and Hart were great, as were the Gershwins, but what the Beatles did is beyond debate. Unless of course that debate is with you.

And that is not funny, but rather sad. I actually feel bad for you that you'll never really hear, "Julie", or laugh at McCartney's brilliant choice to follow, "I Will" with, "Why Don't We Do It In The Road". I honestly feel sorry for you about that.

You don't know me. And you can't hang with me in a real debate. I've got little interest in proving it, for I know my Sun Zsu, and this battle is won before it's begun.

So, continue to live your life. I imagine it is a sad and shallow existance and for as much as you seem to hate so many, I honestly don't wish that for you. I wish you could, "hear" The Beatles. If you understood one thing John was saying in, "Strawberry Fields", we wouldn't even be having this dicussion.

You have no idea what being a musician is really about. And that is true if you are skilled or a neophyte.

I wish you good luck.
