Hmmm, I appear to have bought some ATAX in a Roth IRA. I see ATAX invests in tax exempt debt, does that meant the dividends ATAX pays are also tax exempt?

As a way of hedging the risk of these stocks insolvency you may want to investigate what the put market pricing (if any) is on these stocks.

Without saying anything about these two particular stocks, in general, sometimes one can take on more risk if one can find an appropriately priced put on the holding.

After the flash crash and 2008 I am all about trying to find ways to manage risk--and am willing to pay a reasonable amount to do so. What is reasonable will vary with a person's situation.

Regards,

V
