Okay, I think I've got it (cue Rex Harrison).

When millions of people read Rand they are "looking for wisdom in a fortune cookie".

When you read Tolstoy, George Bernard Shaw, Russel, Whitehead, Socrates and Plato, Sartre and Camus, Huxley and Darwin, you are on "the path to wisdom".

And I'm inclined to agree with this "all one ends up with is some understanding of how foolish we all are", although I'd add immaterial. Foolish and immaterial. And that's not a slam on you but a recognition of my own significance in the universe, amusing myself on an internet chat board.

Have a good day trading. I'm impressed by your apparent understanding of the world of silver company warrants.
