With Drive Image, I used the full image feature for back up. In around 2001 I had a hard drive fail. I bot a new one and partitioned and formatted the drive, then restored a recent image I had of it. It went 100% perfect.

Happy to read that the info I linked you to helped. As we continue to digitize our lives, the more important it is to protect the information. If it's not protected, once it's lost it's gone forever. Not a good situation to live through.
