Happy New Year!

I am glad that things are returning to normal--and that stocks are edging back up.

Glad I survived 2009 and 2010 without doing anything real dumb. The biggest mistakes were of omission. Sometimes you know what you should do, but it seems imprudent to make a big bet, it is a paradox. It has happened to me a couple of times and I always chicken out. On the other hand I think you always reprove yourself by measuring the max. amount you could have made, which is unrealistic, because you ignore all of the many ways you could also have lost a bundle. Anyway I guess I am back to pre-crash highs, so I have nothing to complain about. Imp. has helped a lot.

Nice photos. Weren't you thinking of going there once to buy farmland?
