OK Joe If you buy at the midpoint you are telling the MM that you feel the price of the stock is overvalued. As a consumer you have the right to negotiate. Well the MMs how know that unless others buy at the ask then they can short sell to you at the midpoint KNOWING they can lower the ask and in such lower the bid. There is a point that people will sell and BOOM they cover the short position and get the price down with out having to short it like they used to do.

Simple supply and demand. Pay the ask or loose your money. WNCR had a midpoint buy or sell at 1.43 I did not care it came at the midpoint so I sold at 1.37 knowing it would drop and sure enough it did. You cannot make money if you do not learn the opposition.

I have real time and I am learning how to trade with the new age of trading. If you want to buy at the midpoint go ahead if there are not enough ask buys the puppy is going to fall. Once it hits a certain point the sell out begins and the MMs cover.

Now anything other than the ask I concern a sell period. On momentum plays I will react to the midpoint same as I would a sell. I knew to sell CVIA yesterday the MINUTE a midpoint came in and it was not backed up with ask buying so I sold at .375... I was talking to another trader and told him midpoints had started and to sell. He held off and lost 10% before he did.

It wil take a while before people finally realize what I am saying. I am just altering my trading style. I do not trade and reearch to lose money because people like shooting themselves in the foot.
