No doubt all that will cost.

But it will probably happen when oil prices make it worthwhile. And perhaps it is efficient to power electric vehicles with gas-produced electricity.

As Boone Pickens and others have been pointing out, the big opportunity is conversions of lagre trucks and buses.

It used to be easier before fuel injectors.. In the old days you could add an NG tank and flip fuel... Taxis used to do this a lot..

One company doing it today is WPT.TO

Alternative fuels are no biggie. People have been working with all sorts of fuels for 100 years. 30 years ago I ran alternative fuels programmes for BP Oil in NZ.

The technology is easy enough. It's all easy. It's just a matter of dollars. When LPG, CNG, ethanol, methanol, diesel from methane or coal or whatever are economic, then people will start using them.

There are many decades of experience in price changes and changes in supply and demand. So we have a fairly good idea on how quickly things change.
